Heartfelt Celebration at the 25FA Graduation Ceremony of Queen Elizabeth School

On 23 May 2025, Queen Elizabeth School proudly celebrated the 25FA Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone for its S6 students. The event took place in the School Hall and was filled with emotion, nostalgia, and a shared vision for the future.

The ceremony drew an overwhelming crowd, with over 210 parents in attendance, all eager to witness their childrenˇ¦s graduation from their beloved school. The atmosphere was electric, filled with pride and joy as families gathered to celebrate this special occasion.

Principal IU Kok-kin opened the ceremony with a heartfelt welcoming speech, expressing his deep affection for the S6 students he has had the pleasure of knowing during his first year as the Principal at QES. He encouraged the graduates to embrace their future with optimism and determination, wishing them all a prosperous journey ahead.

The ceremony was officiated by Ms Jasmine CHENG Wai-ming, Guest of Honor & alumna, and our special guests, Mr. CHAN Chung, Chairman of the OSA, Mr. Wilson WOO yuen-kwong, Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association, and Principal Iu. After each graduate received their certificate on stage, each class took photos with the officiating guests, creating beautiful memories.

The highlight of the event was the inspiring speech delivered by guest of honour, Jasmine CHING, an esteemed alumna of QES. Jasmine shared delightful anecdotes from her time at the school, emphasizing the importance of persistence and hard work in her successful career at the Department of Justice. Her motivational words resonated deeply with graduates, reflecting her enduring pride and love for QES.

Adding to the emotional depth of the ceremony, the 25FA Chairperson WONG Chun Ming delivered a touching speech that brought tears to the eyes of graduates, parents, and teachers alike. This heartfelt tribute showcased the profound love and appreciation the graduates hold for their school community.

The ceremony concluded on a creative note with the screening of the passionate 25FA Video, followed by the singing of the School Song, leaving everyone with a sense of unity and nostalgia.

In a delightful gesture, the Parent-Teacher Association sponsored ice cream for all attendees, and an instant photo booth allowed families and staff to create lasting memories together. These activities fostered a warm atmosphere, strengthening the bonds within the QES community.

The day was further enriched by a friendly basketball match between teachers, led by Principal IU, and the 25FA graduates. This lighthearted competition illustrated the amicable relationship shared between students and teachers at QES, highlighting the supportive environment fostered within the school.

As the ceremony concluded, we extend our best wishes to all 25FA graduates for wonderful results in the upcoming HKDSE exams, and we wish them good health and happiness in their future endeavors.
