In late April of this academic year, our school organized a five-day, four-night educational study tour to Tokyo, Japan, for twenty Form 4 and Form 5 students, with a focus on technology and environmental education. The itinerary included several sites of educational significance, such as Azabudai Hills, AMPS International Animation Academy, ANA Maintenance Facility, Musashino Waste Treatment Plant, as well as cultural experiences like matcha and wagashi making. Students also visited Ikebukuro Sunshine Aquarium, the National Museum of Nature and Science, TeamLab Planets, a disaster prevention learning facility, and toured areas including Shinjuku and Sakae Premium Outlets.

Through cultural exchange and the broadening of international perspectives, learning about environmental protection and sustainable development, and engaging in innovative experiences that integrate technology and art, students were provided with valuable opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, fostering diverse and critical thinking skills. Additionally, by exploring various industries such as STEAM and environmental sectors, students were able to consider future academic and career pathways and discover their individual potential. This study tour not only enriched studentsˇ¦ learning experiences but also contributed significantly to their personal growth, making it a truly rare and invaluable educational opportunity.
