In his speech, Professor CHU reflected on his learning experiences at Queen Elizabeth School, particularly his involvement in the Astronomy Club. He noted how a telescope opened the door to exploring the universe, leaving him with an unprecedented sense of awe and leading him on a path of scientific research.

Professor CHU pointed out that the past forty years represent a golden age of technological development, marked by milestones such as the confirmation of gravitational waves, the exploration of black holes, and leaps in artificial intelligence and quantum computing, all of which have propelled human civilization forward. However, he also cautioned students that technology is a "double-edged sword"¡Xit can open the door to progress, but it can also exacerbate the climate crisis and contribute to the proliferation of weapons. The key lies in whether humanity can use it wisely. He encouraged students to solidly master scientific knowledge while also nurturing a humanistic spirit, emphasizing that only by effectively utilizing technology can they pave the way for a better future.

The ceremony included several student performances showcasing the school's achievements in holistic education. The Chinese orchestra first played "©¶¤l»R¦±" creating an atmosphere of festive celebration. This was followed by a heartfelt Chinese recitation of "ÃØ¥Õ°¨¤ý³C" and a passionate English drama titled "I Will Read." The school's choir concluded the performances with the moving song "Till We Meet Again," symbolizing the importance of cherishing gatherings and looking forward to reunions. Finally, the entire audience, including staff and students, sang the school song in unison, elevating the atmosphere to a climax and marking a successful conclusion to the ceremony.
