Held from August 21 to 22 at the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong Wu Kai Sha Youth Village, this year’s Prefect Camp, organized by the Discipline Team, served as an invaluable opportunity for our student leaders to enhance their communication skills and build a sense of belonging to the prefect team.

Through a series of engaging team adventure activities, the event effectively fostered mutual trust and resilience among the prefects. A major highlight of the camp was the Leap of Faith, where the entire class worked together to hold a large canvas while individual students stepped up to a high point and leaped across the middle. This powerful game taught students invaluable core values, including the importance of collective accountability as they shared the weight of supporting their peers, the courage to step out of one's comfort zone in the face of fear, and the significance to build trust within a team.

The camp serves as a meaningful tradition within the prefect body and empowers student leaders to grow while enjoying meaningful team-building experiences. We believe these lessons will inspire our leaders to serve our school with dedication and outstanding role modeling skills throughout the upcoming academic year.
